I really love makeup, and I’m always curious as to what products are going to work for me. I don’t have a lot of makeup, and sometimes I just want to see what I’m missing out on. What if my next holy grail makeup item is out there and I haven’t tried it yet? Since I’ve been on a makeup buying ban, I’ve been reflecting on what makeup products work, and don’t work for me. After a little bit of thinking, I came up with 10 makeup products that I’m dying to try out in the future.
Here is my list:
1. Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Bette
I have seen Tanya Burr use this cream eyeshadow a lot on her channel, and I’m always blown away by how gorgeous it is. It’s the perfect bronzy colour, which is my go-to eyelid colour.
2. Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow
I love the idea of an all in one palette that isn’t huge. I think the colours are perfect, and would be nice to just pick one palette and have all my essentials in one place. It would be perfect for travelling too!
3. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
Although I have oily skin, I’ve seen on many YouTube channels that Nars Sheer Glow Foundation works well on oily skin too! I also have very warm/yellow undertones, and the Nars foundations do run more yellow/olive.
4. Nars Audacious Lipsticks
Almost every single YouTuber I watch mentions how amazing these lipsticks are. They are quite luxurious, and seem they would be a very easy formula to wear on a daily basis.
5. Glossier Lidstar
I’ve been wanting to try Glossier products for a while now, but it wasn’t until I saw the Lidstars that I was completely smitten. I really love the idea of these liquid eyeshadows being easy to blend, but they don’t disappear. They look so nice!
6. Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer
I have never owned a high-end concealer before, and I’m interested to see what all the hype is about with the Nars concealer.
7. Soft Glam Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills
I love the Modern Renaissance palette a lot, and since this new eyeshadow palette has the same formula, I know I’ll love it as well. It has more neutrals, and more metallic, shades than Modern Renaissance, which I prefer for everyday makeup looks.
8. Fenty Beauty Match Stix
I used to not be interested in contouring before, but after seeing what it can do to me cheekbones, I want to try products dedicated to contour. I really want to try the Fenty Beauty’s Match Stix because it looks like it’s the perfect cool-toned contour for my fair skin. Not only that, but it looks super easy to use.
9. Cover FX Mattifying Primer
I have never tried a primer before. I know, shocking right? I don’t know if primers are worth it, so I want to test out this one since it’s meant for oily skin.
10. Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighters
I love how Fenty Beauty came out with a highlight duo! I think it’s so smart to have a blinding highlight, plus a more subtle highlight to have in your makeup kit!
What some makeup products do you want to try out? Have you tried any of the makeup products I mentioned above?
