After completing a makeup declutter a few days ago, I thought now would be the perfect time to share my Holy Grail makeup products. These makeup products are ones I can’t live without, and ones that I gravitate towards a lot. I’ve noticed my love of some of these products because of the project pan I’ve been doing. Since I haven’t bought any new makeup in over 6 months, it has allowed me to see what products I actually do love, and want to continue using and buying.
My Holy Grail makeup includes:
– Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
This mascara is the best I’ve ever tried. It gives me long and lifted lashes that don’t flake. I don’t buy the waterproof version because I find this one is very resistant to water already.
– MAC matte lipstick in Diva
Diva has been a favourite of mine since I purchased it. It’s the perfect burgundy colour that you can wear all year round. It’s a very sexy colour.
– MAC matte lipstick in Velvet Teddy
I recently was gifted this lipstick for Christmas, and instantly fell in love. It’s a my-lips-but-better type of colour on me. It’s not too pink and not to brown. A perfect nude.
– Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Fenty Glow
Would you believe me that I wear this colour at least once or twice a week? It’s that beautiful, and it’s perfect to wear regardless how heavy you’ve done your makeup. It’s truly the best lipgloss I’ve ever tried.
– Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 130
I have tested a lot foundations in the past few years, and have been disappointed in the colours I’ve found. A lot of store associates love to give me cool-toned foundation when I have a very warm and yellow undertone. (Sorry I have redness on my face, it doesn’t mean I’m cool toned!) So when I found the Fenty foundation in 130 for fair skin with yellow undertones, I was so excited. This foundation matches my skin tone perfectly. It hides all the redness on my face, and leaves my incredibly oily skin matte, yet very skin like. I am in love with this foundation.
– ABH Modern Renaissance palette
I love how versatile this palette is, and how I can go from a minimal makeup look, to something really dramatic.
– Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen
This eyeliner makes it very easy to create the perfect wing. The brush tip allows for easy mobility on your eyelid, creating a sharp line every time. The brush tip never frays, so I never have to worry about my eyes looking like a racoon. It’s a matte formula too, which I think suits most eye looks as well.
– NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Yogurt
No matter what type of metallic or shimmer eyeshadow I use, this NYX pencil always makes the colours pop. I have some eyeshadows that really need a good base for them to stand out, and this particular colour works wonders with almost all shimmery eyeshadows.
– Bite Matte Crayon in Leche
I didn’t think I would like this colour as much as I do. It is similar to Bite’s Amuse Bouche lipstick in Meringue, but if Meringue has a hint more brown. It’s a very wearable pink colour, considering I don’t like traditional pink lipsticks.
– Makeup Geek Beaches and Cream matte eyeshadow
Beaches and Cream is the perfect transition colour for my paler complexion. It really helps me tie together my looks.
– Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder
I have extremely oily skin. When I mean extremely, I’m not exaggerating. I find that when I use this setting powder, my foundation looks so smooth, flawless, and matte. I don’t necessarily have to set my Fenty foundation, but I like to if I’ll be out of the house long, or if it’s summertime. This setting powder may not claim to be mattifying, but it does wonders for my skin.
– Too Faced Shadow Insurance
As I mentioned before, I have an oily complexion, which includes my eyes. The Too Faced eyeshadow primer keeps my eyeshadow in place, and vibrant all day long. Sometimes I have my eyeshadow on for 12 hours and it still looks like I just did my makeup.
These are truly my holy grail makeup products, and ones I use all the time. One thing I have noticed while doing my project pan is that there are a few products I don’t have a holy grail for. I don’t have a favourite highlighter, bronzer, blush, concealer, primer, or setting spray. Some of the reasons why I don’t have a favourite in these categories is because I haven’t tried something I absolutely loved, I have never tried that type of product, or I think I can find something better in the future.
I hope you found this list helpful. All of these products are ones I would recommend to everyone. They are truly loved, and used, by me. I can’t live without them, and if I pan any of them, I’m instantly repurchasing.

Thank you! 🙂 I used to love the Painterly paint pot. I think if I get another one, I’ll buy Soft Ochre because it would suit my skin tone the best!
