April TBR 2018

April TBR 2018

April TBR 2018
It’s April, so I have another TBR pile to share. March was a good month for reading, but I definitely didn’t finish all the books I wanted to read. March was also a month where I found myself reading less than I usually do. There were a few days where I didn’t read at all. I’m not sure why, but I just didn’t feel like reading some days. So, this is why there are a few repeats on my TBR from previous months.
In April I want to read:
The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff
Dubliners by James Joyce
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara (finishing the rest of the book)
Do Not Say We Have Nothing by Madeleine Thien (finishing the rest of the book)

I really want to finish all 5 of these books this month so I can have a completely new TBR pile for May. I won’t beat myself up for not finishing all of the books, but I really want to read as much as I can this month. So instead of my usual 1 hour of reading a day, I’m increasing it to 2 hours a day. So every day in April I’ll be reading 2 hours a day, no excuses. Wish me luck!

What are you planning on reading in April?

  1. Dubliners is a tough one–lots of Irish references–so good luck! I gave up after three stories bc I was continuously flipping between the text and the notes in the back.
