Bullet Journal February Set-Up

Bullet Journal February Set-Up 1
In 2018, I decided I wanted to keep a bullet journal. I’ve tried to keep one back a year and a half ago, but it never stuck. I didn’t have the right journal, nor did I have a clear idea of how I wanted to format my journal. However, a few weeks ago, Jamie Paige created a video about her bullet journal, and I was hooked again. From there, I found Amanda Rach Lee’s YouTube page, and I was blown away by how excited I was about owning a journal.

I always kept journals growing up. I loved writing lists down, and keeping my thoughts down on paper. The bullet journal seemed like the perfect fit for me, and my lifestyle, so I decided to take it seriously this year. Although I was committed, I didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money to keep a journal. I bought a cheap journal, pens, and that’s about it. Everything I use, I owned since university, so the cost for having a journal wasn’t astronomical. In terms of my process, I always plan out everything in pencil. I don’t want to make huge mistakes and not be able to fix them. Also, I really don’t want to rip pages out of my journal. It may be a time consuming process, but I do prefer doing it this way.

A lot of what I drew in my journal is completely inspired by Amanda Rach Lee, Jamie Paige, and Pinterest posts I have found. I would not say my illustraions are completely original, so all credit goes to the creators of most of these designs. As I get better with my bullet journal, I may start to think of my own little designs.
