A Bit of Everything Haul

I did a bit of shopping after the holidays, and ended up getting a few things I’ve been looking at for a while. Yes, I did pick up some makeup bits, but I bought them in 2017. Therefore, it doesn’t interfere with my no buy until August. Usually during the holidays, or my birthday, I like to treat myself to a few things, because why not? It’s good to treat yourself once in a while.
I got a few things at Indigo, which is one of my all time favourite places to shop. I got myself a bullet journal, which I’m hoping to use a lot of this year. I also bought the new John Green novel Turtles All the Way Down. I am not a huge fan of YA, but I read all of Green’s novels when I was teenager, so I wanted to see what his new one is like. Another book I got is Brain on Fire by Susannah Cahalan. I read the summary of this memoir many years ago, and the story absolutely captivated me. I’ve been wanting to read it for such a long time, that it was time I finally bought the book.

In Sephora, I went on a little shopping spree. I bought two new lipsticks, an eyeliner, and a setting powder. Now, the powder and eyeliner are replacements for products I decluttered/panned last year. I got the Cover FX Matte Setting Powder and the Clinique Pretty Easy Eyeliner. The two lipsticks were ones I’ve had my eye on, and just needed to grab. I got the Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Ma’Damn, and the Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Léché. I’m really happy with my purchases, and I’ve actually used these products A LOT since I’ve bought them. Instant favourites!

Until August, I won’t be posting another makeup haul. However, I might have another book haul within the next 6 to 7 months. Maybe. My birthday is coming up soon, so I don’t know if I’ll buy books then. Let me know if any of the things I bought, you would like to see a review on, whether it’s a book or makeup item.
