Every once in a while, I like to declutter my makeup. Usually when I do this, I’m decluttering old makeup, not new purchases. However, as I’ve been doing some research about parabens, I decided I no longer wanted to use products that contain this ingredient. I know there are still chemicals in makeup that are bad, but I am trying to reduce using makeup that have ingredients that are extremely hazardous to my health.
The products I’m decluttering are all amazing products that I enjoyed using. Yet, all of these products have parabens in them, and I decided it was best to just get rid of them. I would still recommend these products if the ingredients in your cosmetics don’t bother you. None of these products are unused, so I can’t donate them to women’s shelters.
Here is what I got rid of:
1. Maybelline Matte + Poreless Foundation in Porcelain and Classic Ivory (I loved these foundations, but none of them matched my warm undertone)
2. Revlon Colourstay Liquid Liner
3. Anastasia Lipgloss in Kristen
4. Annabelle Lip Liner in Cherry
